About me

Dr. Robin Vest is a family practitioner with interests in women’s health, pregnancy care, children’s/teen health, obesity care and substance use disorders. She believes the best way to treat a patient is to understand the whole person and their background. She enjoys having long-term relationships with patients and treating the whole family, from newborns to elders. Dr. Vest follows guidelines based on research. She stresses preventive care, such as diet and exercise.

She spends her free time with her husband and their adorable golden retriever enjoying the great outdoors — they hike, backpack and paddleboard. She also runs, plays sports (especially volleyball), tries new foods and restaurants, cooks, spends time with friends and family, and reads.

Clinical interests: Women’s health, maternity/obstetrics, addiction medicine, preventive medicine, pediatric and adolescent medicine, LBGTQ care

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
