Biography

Dr. Al-Hakim is an Assistant Professor in the Charles T. Dotter Department of Interventional Radiology at OHSU. His clinical interest is vascular disease including vascular anomalies, venous disease (thrombolysis, mechanical thrombectomy, pulmonary embolism interventions, IVC filter retrieval, venous recanalization, venous stenting) and arterial interventions (peripheral artery disease, complex peripheral artery recanalization, tibial artery interventions, aortic interventions, transradial access) as well as Interventional Oncology. Dr. Al-Hakim’s research interests are focused on vascular disease with a current emphasis on venous stent design and interventional management of pulmonary embolism.
