He is the best doctor I have ever had.

I have been with Nicholas Gideonse for nearly a decade now. He has always been an excellent provider. He has a tough job being the the Suboxone director. He has ... when I was not doing well at times in my life, he had to you know, almost full my script from me. He's ... this man has helped save my life the OHSU and this Nicholas Gideonse, and I think he's nothing short than a angel from God. So thank you guys for employing him and thank you for all that you've done for me.

Nicholas Gideonse is a great doctor. In fact, he helped me with a big problem with itching. I...I had been itching really bad for about 5 or 6 years now. It started really bad when I got diagnosed with cancer and nobody could quite figure it out and I went in there one day and told him what was going on. He prescribed me a medicine and like that, it was done. I take this pill at night because that's when it gets the worst and I don't stay up at night itching and I don't wake up in the middle of the night itching. So, that's just one of the many things he is done for me. I think he's a great doctor.

Nicholas Gideonse is one of the best physicians I have ever had in my experience with all of the OHSU doctor's he is number one. He is the best. Thank you very much.

Yeah, he was very personable, I enjoyed my visit - sometimes you get a new doctor and it doesn't go so great. It was very simple, and I really like his personality - I recommend him to anybody. Thank you. Bye.

Dr. Gideonse has a really personal bed side manner. He made jokes and kidded around which helped me a great deal especially as I was getting my boys clipped. I like the Dr. Most likeable so far.

He was fantastic! Not only did he take care of my appointment purpose but even ran tests to ensure my nutrition was at an appropriate level givena rare condition I have. Even my pcp has not tested these simple things. His manner is great. He’s great. I can’t say it enough. I want him to come home.

  • Dec 01, 2018

I think he's a really good doctor. He goes to the end to try to help you. I just don't know if he understood what I was trying to tell him about how bad of experience I was having with the dental situation I was having I just hope he understood I felt like I wasn't dying during that situation and I was stressed. but he's awesome doctor. Thanks.

Dr. Gideonse has been my primary care doctor for years. I trust him to diagnose and treat me, and to refer me when necessary. He has always done an excellent job.

  • Nov 17, 2018

I went in to see the doctor with me and both of the children and I had a good idea that I knew what was wrong. He verified what that was wrong with my daughter which was an ear infection. He calmed my fears that there was anything wrong with my son. He was fine. He didn't have the same thing and he confirmed (INAUDIBLE), he gave me the appropriate treatment of the treatment that I asked for and he also gave me a back up treatment in case the first one didn't work and I really really appreciate that, he was so incredibly knowledgeable. So thank you very much.

  • Nov 16, 2018

Professional and experienced, asked the most important question to a parent, "what are you worried about?"

  • Nov 15, 2018

Dr. Gideonse is an incredible doctor. He is very smart, knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding, and I trust my health and I trust my daughter's health in his hands for sure. So he's a great doctor and he always can figure out what's wrong with me.

  • Sep 11, 2018

  • Aug 24, 2018

Wonderful bedside manner, very approachable with questions and concerns

  • Aug 22, 2018

    He was great.

  • Aug 18, 2018

He was very calm, and kind, and rational, and obviously had a lot of experience (INAUDIBLE).

  • Aug 17, 2018

He does a great job and is very knowledgeable about my conditions and I trust him with my health care needs.

  • Jun 10, 2018

While he wasn't my primary care physician, he was very thorough and made sure to inform my PCP about our visit and the decisions we made.

  • Apr 11, 2018

Again, I look healthy, I look alright. That's not always how I feel. If I am going in to see my primary doctor, I am having health problems..To re-up on the medications I already have at home falls short of what I was hoping to accomplish. Such as tests, blood tests, scans, something to match the symptoms with a cause.
