Dr. Polensek is an amazing health care provider a OHSU. She absolutely serves the mission, and is very focused on her patients. We have always had an exceptional experience at Family Medicine at South Waterfront. One thing that I am concerned about is that, as a patient, they brought Center for Health & Healing on board 13 years ago, and it was such an amazing, beautiful facility to visit, and it's unfortunate that the administration has decided to not continue investing in that facility as a flagship beacon for the OHSU mission, as well as the other facilities that are coming on board there. They really need to focus on continuing their capital improvements, their infrastructure *

We love Dr. Polensek, she takes care of our kids well and seems to really want them to feel comfortable going to her or setting up a relationship where they would be comfortable going to any doctor and that means a lot to us. I think that for a family needing the same things we're needing out of a pediatrician she would be perfect.

Dr. Polensek is such a wonderful healthcare provider, and an even better person. She makes asking questions easy, responds professionally yet understandably, and is all around a fantastic physician.

I liked Dr Polenshek (I may be misspelling it, though) because she seemed genuinely interested in meeting us and discussing my questions. she gave us time, and that is very valuable attention indeed.

Dr. Natalia is very nice very enthusiastic and she take good care of the kids, very good at communication with kids. The only problem is that we, I want a little more time, for asking questions. I? when I saw her I expect? is gonna come back and give me some time to ask question, but unfortunately she's too busy because she needs to see the next patient, so I did not... I cannot ask a few questions, before I leave that's a pity but in general she's a good doctor.

Dr. Polensek is amazing! I really like her. She is very nice and an all around good person and doctor. I appreciated how she mentioned that home remedies are usually just as good as medicines or drugs for the cold that I have. She also asked me about what was going on in my life, and I had a nice time talking to her.

Yes we really love the Dr. Polensek she's great wonderful the only concern we have is that she's young I understand not 18 I'm just not very happy with the situation not being in the room at certain times with her when she agrees that we can be and I just think that it's not right for her age you know we are you know fully responsible for her and it just bothers me as a 14 year old we have to step out of the room sometimes so that would be my only concern at this time.

The dr was fine, but I would discourage friends from using OHSU family medicine at south waterfront because my family and I are consistently seen anywhere from 45 minutes to a well over an hour after our scheduled appointment. We are typically called back for the appointment at least 30 to 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. I can understand a short or occasional delay but the consistently very late appointments make it so it?s no longer worth going to this clinic. It?s pretty clearly a systemic problem with the scheduling and not the fault of any individual provider, as it happens irrespective of who we are seeing. It makes me feel like the clinic does not respect my time, and as a working mom of two small kids, is very frustrating.

She is very good with my kids and treats them with respect, listening to them and their concerns. I appreciate that she takes the time to check in with me as well as takes time to have one on one discussions with the kids.

Dr. Polansek is very knowledgeable and kind. She spends as much time as needed to ensure good care is received.
- Jul 11, 2018
Consistently very late - more than an hour for each of our three appointments. This is very hard with babies because of their eating and sleeping schedule. Is kind, but doesn?t seem to provide concise counsel.

wish this doctor saw adult s too. I would switch to her.

The language used was very simplistic and understandable. As many of [Name]'s family members are in the medical field, she does understand basic medical terminology, phrases, etc. There is a chance that the ease and simplicity of the way the doctor speaks can come off in a condescending way. As someone in the medical field, I just reminded myself and [Name] that doctors are use to talking to those who aren't as fortunate to have the information and knowledge we do, so it wasn't her being rude...

She was an hour late and did not apologize. She got the timeline of illness wrong multiple times. She seemed distracted and I didn't feel confident she was focusing on my child. She did ultimately diagnose correctly: viral rash, and gave us guidelines for what to watch out for, but did not offer recommendations about topical or oral medications despite me mentioning that my son's rash "extremely itchy." A physician colleague of mine recommended an oral antihistamine and topical corticosteroid, which was a great idea to help my son with his miserable itch. She also didn't fully undress him to see his entire body to determine exactly where the rash was, which I found unacceptable.

Excellent experience with the doctor, only complaint about experience was the late start to the exam.
