Dr. Taylor specializes in treating patients with melanoma and thyroid cancer. He has a particular interest in thyroid cancers. In addition to his clinical research, Dr. Taylor studies cancer cells and patients tumors in his laboratory. Dr. Taylor and his wife Jessica, are the proud parents of four daughters. When he is not at the hospital, he is at soccer games, piano recitals, ballet and dance performances, and school plays. When there’s time, he enjoys cycling, golf, and oddly enough – yard work.

    Yes. I was very pleased with. Dr. Taylor, and so is my sister, and I will continue with Dr. Taylor as long as he's up at OHSU. So anyway, I'm very pleased with him and his conduct was very excellent. I'm very, very happy with everybody up at OHSU, at the clinic at Portland Adventist. Thank you so very, very much.

    I was very much impressed with Dr. Taylor. I was glad to meeting man. I'm impressed for this credentials and I think he's a very thorough and and good doctor and I'm really pleased he's going to be my cancer doctor from now and I've had to in the past that we're really good, but I'm I'm really impressed with him and then I have I get along with him fine and I think he's a great doctor.

    Dr Taylor is a very kind and patient man. We have felt safe with him each time we have met with him.He explained what was going on and what had been misunderstood in a clear way and words. And answered any questions we raised.I felt like he cared about me / us.

    This meeting was a follow-up to a CT scan that was done at OHSU a week earlier.Dr. Taylor recommended a PET scan be done in the near future to better study a lymph node which has expanded recently.

    I found Dr. Taylor always very open and willing to answer my questions willing to work with anything that I had as far as hesitation. He has a very nice bed side manner and always very respectful and courteous. Very very pleasant man.

    I have known Mathew as a doctor and most importantly as a friend. Mathew has always been a caring and supportive partner in my fight with cancer. I just recently lost my beloved wife to cancer, and she was also very thankful for Mathew’s dedication to this fight against cancer. OHSU has been a place of a great many memories for me and Mathew Taylor will be among the best.
