I especially enjoy caring for patients with food allergies, celiac disease, pancreatic/liver disease, and inflammatory bowel disease. It is great to see these children grow and thrive once their illness is under control.

I love to hike, camp and kayak with our English setter dogs. We love the Northwest because of its endless opportunities to do all these activities. I am a passionate gardener and love to dig in the dirt. On time off, I assist my husband in 4-H activities as he is a 4-H director.

Linda Muir is a veteran in the field of gastro studies. Very kind, and compassionate. I would not want my daughter to see anyone else without her recomendation.

  • Dec 12, 2019

The doctor didn't listen, the doctor didn't listen to, really listen to what I was trying to tell her. She was too busy reading all the questions off the screen and when I tried to expand on anything, she said "oh, no, no, no, just the questions", and so I know that my son has more of an issue than just a common something because of a genetic disease that runs in the family and she didn't put that into consideration at all. And I feel like I was kind of brushed off, which irritated me. I will definitely not recommend her and will not be coming back to her. Unfortunately, this is my chance of trying to see a doctor, a specialist, for my son's stomach that has been having a major issue, one of the problems, they said, she said typical because of diet.

Dr. Muir was very thorough and caring in answering our questions about my 14YO’s likely diagnosis of Celiac disease.

  • Nov 13, 2019

While the GI doctor we saw was nice, she was VERY RUSHED! She barely had time for us. She said y’all have a total of 4 rooms for the GI clinic and 4 doctors who are working 80+ hours/week. **This is unacceptable for a nationally ranked hospital** I just came from SC, where healthcare is deplorable. And I’d say your GI clinic needs an overhaul. We’ve seen Sleep Medicine, Nephrology, Dental, and more I’m sure you can see in my daughters chart, and none of those specialists were that rushed. My daughter has an extremely rare genetic disease, she is extremely medically fragile and complex. I specifically chose Doernbecher for her care due to your reputation and national rankings. She has been to the ER and hospitalized MANY TIMES for her chronic GI issues. This has been going on her ENTIRE LIFE (8 years) and I don’t appreciate being herded in there like cattle, feeling like I didn’t get the help she needs. I expected much a much better experience, and I may change over to Providence. My daughter deserves attention and she’s going to get it elsewhere if your GI clinic can’t provide it.

Dr. Muir was very thorough and professional. She took the time to get to know my son and asked about all the pertinent issues. I really appreciate her coming to the Medford area so that we do not have to travel to Portland to see her.

  • Nov 05, 2019

She listened and was very helpful.

  • Oct 02, 2019

Great personality easy to understand explained everything well

  • Sep 28, 2019

Excellent provider, Dr. Muir is one of the best, we love her a lot. Thank you. Bye.

  • Sep 16, 2019

Linda Muir is very professional, was very helpful, and listened to my daughter, and just was great. And so yes, love seen her. She's always great, and very thorough, and I appreciate her.

OHSU was very kind and considerate the visit was very nice it was wonderful and we felt like we were treated like royalty I would recommend them to anyone if they had the opportunity to go if they needed them it's wonderful to have OHSU there

  • Sep 08, 2019

Hi, we really appreciate Dr. Muir being in Medford (INAUDIBLE) so daughter can't see (INAUDIBLE) care medical specialist (INAUDIBLE) trip up to Portland for tests, but it's just a lot of time, effort, and money - really appreciate it.

  • Aug 29, 2019

She was extremely caring understanding and compassionate about my child. She explained everything that was going to happen and explained what she did after the procedure and if she saw anything out of the ordinary.

  • Aug 25, 2019

    Great doctor.

  • Aug 15, 2019

We received the most consciencensious care imaginable with Doernbecher. From the very beginning, I was guided and informed through the entire process, including a list of hotels that provided discounts for traveling to the facility. The staff at the hospital were thoughtful and informative at every transition. I was so impressed and grateful for the attention and care my daughter received. I felt that every person we met with truly cared and took every opportunity to make us feel comfortable, well informed and respected. I hope this level of care will become the standard for medical care in the future. I just can't say enough good things about our experience at OHSU Doernbecher.

  • Aug 13, 2019

Dr. Muir is fabulous and has been absolutely instrumental in my son's care where other providers didnt catch his issues.

  • Aug 09, 2019

Hi, I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Muir. My only suggestion would be that it would be nice to see more of a presence in the Medford Oregon area with Dr. Muir and the pediatric GI specialist from OHSU. Thank you.

  • Aug 09, 2019

Great provider but she was so busy we weren’t able to ask any questions.

  • Jul 31, 2019

She was very quick to land on a potential solution that other providers had overlooked. It was affirming, because it was something my mother's tuition had suspected, but when I brought it up to others, I was dismissed. She was the first one to put the pieces together and offer a real solution.

  • Jul 04, 2019

I felt this provider was professional, knowledgeable and direct in her approach, while maintaining a sense of caring and support.

  • Jul 03, 2019

Dr. Muir is one of the best people on my son's care team. She is very straight forward, to the point, really thorough in her care, and has a great deal of knowledge that applies to not only my son's gut health but also due to her background in nutrition, she advises us nutritionally as well, which is extremely helpful all under one provider.

  • Jun 27, 2019

Very bad. Will never go back.

  • Jun 25, 2019

This was our first visit. I thought she was very friendly, thorough, and answered all of my questions.

  • Jun 21, 2019

She’s pretty straight to the point which is good but lacks relational components that depending on the age and health history of the patient could be hard to connect with. Our son loves everyone so personality styles aren’t as big of a challenge for him as it may be for younger or nervous patients.

  • Jun 19, 2019

I think the only issue I had was the fact that though we were referred there over 2 months ago with the appointment being set up at that time, no one had been able to look at test results that were in my childs file. Had the physician been able to take five minutes to look at the file before coming in to meet us she would have been aware as to why we were there and the other tests and procedures that had been run on my child.

  • Jun 18, 2019

    Always kind, helpful, and patient.

  • Jun 08, 2019

Very nice and caring nurses I felt loved

  • Jun 02, 2019

Dr. Muir has been a fantastic provider for [Name] She takes her time and makes [Name] feel comfortable while being very thorough in her evaluation of him. She is always concerned with how he is doing and makes sure he knows that.

  • Jun 02, 2019

I rated this provider an 8 because even though she was efficient and to the point. She seemed a little bit short and busy and short, as in, she didn't really leave me much time to think about what she said and then be able to formulate questions and ask them because she came up being too busy, so that's why I rated her and 8. Thank you. Bye.

  • May 24, 2019

When it was time for him to go back she spent very little time with him. And wouldnt/didnt answer any of my questions. She told me that's what his appointment in June was for.very upsetting.

  • Apr 26, 2019

    Informative and caring

  • Apr 26, 2019

She has been very attentive and informative and we feel she is looking out for the best for our son to find out what is wrong with his stomach.

  • Apr 26, 2019

  • Apr 23, 2019

    Very caring

  • Apr 21, 2019

always very grateful for her insight and follow through

  • Apr 19, 2019

Our experience was amazing with the entire hospital, and all staff

  • Apr 18, 2019

    Very informative and personable.

  • Apr 12, 2019

Dr. Muir is exceptional. She was very patient with our questions. The office printed all of the instructions for us. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Even though our appointment was late in the day, we got in right on time without a wait!

  • Apr 11, 2019

She was fine, but kind of condescending. I would find another provider of we can't been referred to her.

  • Apr 08, 2019

She was very informative & friendly

  • Apr 01, 2019

I think she was really attentive and it is helping us trying to get to the bottom of the issue that's happening with my daughter and that she's also communicated really well through my chart which is really helpful for us and that we have a plan in place hopefully that it brings us some answers.

  • Mar 30, 2019

Dr. Muir has always been very interested and very concerned about the care of my child... child. And also she's always been very prompt on time and has worked to see to it that the dietician gets in quickly and that we're in and out and she talks in very understandable language, and I really appreciate her. Thank you. Bye.

  • Mar 28, 2019

She was very thorough and gave a lot of great information

  • Mar 28, 2019

We greatly appreciate that, Dr. Muir is willing to drive to Medford, Oregon. Living in southern Oregon it's just it's hard to do the long trips as our son has severe autism. So we're hoping that more providers will start going to the Medford clinic and we just ... really hope that will happen. Thank you.

  • Mar 27, 2019

There was a night and day difference in our visit with Dr. Muir from with previous providers. She offered tangible and practical approaches to find solutions for our son. We are very thankful.

  • Mar 06, 2019

I left the appt feeling very frustrated. I felt like the Dr talked so much more than listened, and made judgement before hearing all we needed to tell her about our daughter.

  • Mar 06, 2019

We have been extremely grateful for Dr. Muir's care. She is very clear and to the point and has great advice for our son's care and we are mostly thankful that she does her Outreach programs and comes down to Medford to see us. It's.... it's really helpful, as we can't really get to Portland. So, having her come to us is greatly appreciated and I'd love to see that program grow and have her be able to come here more often as well.

  • Mar 06, 2019

Very good doctor. I recommend her to other patients.

  • Mar 01, 2019

    Very kind and explained everything.

  • Mar 01, 2019

Dr. Muir saw us promptly and spent a good amount of time with us. She addressed my concerns and gave us advice on what to do that I felt was appropriate and easy to understand.

  • Feb 24, 2019

We live in Klamath Falls and we had the travel five hours to see a pediatric gastroenterologist. Please consider having a pediatric gastroenterologist in Bender Medford. So people in southern Oregon don't have to take two days off of work to take their child to the doctor.
