Dr. Maron's clinical internship was conducted at the University of California San Diego/VA San Diego Healthcare system. She then received post-doctoral training as part of an NIMH funded fellowship in biological psychiatry and neuroscience, also at UCSD.

Dr. Maron’s clinical interests are in the neuropsychological evaluation of adults with a wide range of diagnoses including attention deficit disorder, traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy and dementia as well as other psychiatric and medical illnesses that can result in cognitive dysfunction.

The focus of Dr. Maron's research is the investigation of neuropsychological mechanisms underlying thought disorder in psychiatric populations using both functional neuroimaging (fMRI) and novel cognitive paradigms.

Dr. Maron has published a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents at scientific meetings. Dr. Maron has recently become interested in applying these methods to the study of adults with attentional dysfunction.
