Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
Dr. Otto, a native of Southern California, is passionate about empowering people to live their best lives while also caring about their health. As a family doctor, she loves developing partnerships with her patients, serving as an advisor and confidante to help them pursue their passions and keep themselves well. As an avid traveler, Spanish-speaker, and lover of culture, she is committed to providing culturally sensitive care to patients from various backgrounds. As an academic, she has special interests in reproductive health, maternity/obstetrics, integrative/holistic medicine, and global health. In addition, Dr. Otto especially enjoys working with teens, children, women, veterans, and the elderly.
When not in the hospital or clinic, Dr. Otto enjoys spending time with her husband (in the military) and her two energetic dogs, Yosemite and Gryffindor. She is always looking forward to her next adventure, whether local or international, and enjoys hiking, camping, road tripping, scuba diving, and singing. She is always happiest when near the water or when spending time with those she loves.
