Dr. Lu is an extremely intelligent and compassionate doctor. I feel going to see him is an answer to prayer, he has given me great hope when all others down here in Medford could not, I can't say enough positive things about him and his office staff, they are all a real asset to OHSU and I will recommend him to anyone who has tried to get quality healthcare elsewhere and has been left disappointed as I have been, thank God for doctors like Dr. Lu

  • Aug 13, 2019

Dr. Lu explained the procedure, colostomy take-down to me, and during the surgery he consulted in the O.R. with a urologist and a stomach specialist surgeon to allay some concerns he had. The out-patient visit I had on Aug. 12 went well. He was satisfied with my progress, and I thanked him for the surgery and all the special precautions he took during surgery.

  • Aug 03, 2019

When we went to the appointment, we felt that Dr. Lu was not prepared or acquainted with [Name] situation or her medical, he spent a lot of time reading her chart, had not called for labs and left the room without giving us any options or answers.

  • Aug 01, 2019

Needs to improve on his communication skills. Good doctor lacks empathy for his patients.

    Couldn't have gone better.

  • Jun 07, 2019

    The Doctors are great.

  • Jun 05, 2019

I was referred to Digestive Health by the gastroenterologist that had just done my colonoscopy and at the same time biopsied my rectal prolapse to rule out cancer. Dr. Lu was great--went through my history carefully, did the examination and gave me the good news it wasn't serious enough to do surgery at this time. He explained everything and told me the options if it did get worse in the future.

  • Jun 04, 2019

Provider is great. Hospital support and building design is poor.

  • Jun 04, 2019

He was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

  • May 25, 2019

I could have used some more time with him to ask some questions and get them answered. It's hard to when I only see him once a year to try to think of things for I think I know what it is when I'm going in there, but then we get sidetracked or he's moving on or or whatever and or he has questions for me and I don't have time to ask the questions that I need to so maybe a little more time for that would be helpful.

  • May 23, 2019

    Always great

  • May 22, 2019

Dr Lu takes his time and is very clear when he discussed my health, upcoming surgery and what to expect.

  • May 10, 2019

Doctor was very professional and warm

  • May 10, 2019

Dr. Kim Lu was very very professional and I'm sure he knows what he's doing. I think I would have a perfect confidence in him. He just was not extra friendly at all. He was not rude or unfriendly, but did not respond to some of my comments or didn't seem to have a sense of humor. That's all but he like I said, he was not rude just wasn't overly friendly. That's all.

  • May 09, 2019

Dr. Kim On came in with in five minutes. It was a very pleasant visit and the new exam rooms are large enough to get my power wheelchair in. The nurses were kind and curtios and very helpful. One of the receptionist kindly led me down to the cafe.
