John Holland is absolutely one of the best physicians that I have ever worked with. Between he and Pete Andersen (Head and Neck Surgeon), they gave me the confidence that I could survive cancer and that they were doing the absolute best of what was available. They encouraged me to ask questions, which I had a LOT of and John always took the time to explain them and make sure that I understood the answers. As well, John would ask about other things that I had going on in my life, which made me feel as though he was dealing with me as a person and not just a name on his patient list. John is a great and caring physician. He laughs a lot and keeps light during those difficult times by giving you the positives and possibilities that lie before you. In short, I trust and value John and his care completely and without reservation before, during, and after my surgeries and radiation treatments. John thank you for your expert care. I was lucky to have you as my Oncologist!!

I have been having sever and constant anxiety attacks, once needing 911 paramedic help since my lung biopsy and seems to be a mechanical event especially with breathing, or movements from a sitting or lying position to a standing position, severe at times. This needs to addressed before my Chemo/Radiation treatments start or it will be a negative effect towards any future treatment. This is a concern I could not seem to get across to the doctors but is a major debilitating concern to myself.

Because of my circumstance, Dr. Holland took time to figure out what to do and walked me through it. Much appreciated
