I felt this provider was very dismissive of my concerns. I felt like my provider did not believe what I was saying about my own body, and I left wondering if I was actually making up the pain I have been feeling. My provider was reluctant to order additional scans to try to investigate further into what might be causing my pain, and actually said to me that if he were a betting man he'd bet that the scans will show nothing. I left being told to take Ibuprofen, I guess indefinitely, with little concern about what the root cause of my issue was. I had to press for additional options if Ibuprofen doesn't help, and if the scans do not show my original tumor growing back, and was finally given the option of physical therapy which was the one hopeful thing that came out of this appointment. It is disheartening and demoralizing to feel like my health care provider has very little interest in helping me. This appointment had been a hard, and scary appointment for me to schedule because I was afraid my tumor was growing back. I left feeling humiliated and demeaned.

  • Aug 13, 2019

Yes, I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Solomon. He's always so polite and kind and he made me really feel real confident in the fact that my surgery went well, and then I'm doing good. I think he's a wonderful surgeon.

  • Aug 11, 2019

I found Dr. Solomon to be amazingly professional and engaging. His bedside manner was next to none. The office visit was quick, just so efficient and fast, cordial, kind and very professional, so I had a great experience and the doctor and his assistant were fantastic. I felt very comfortable and answered all of my questions in detail. I didn't feel rushed and that was a really nice... a nice thing. So, thank you very much.

  • Aug 06, 2019

    Dr. Soloman provided exemplary care.

  • Aug 05, 2019

Dr. Solomon came into the room smirking and I had sent over records from previous doctor. I was wanting a consultation with Dr. Solomon for surgery. He refused to look at the records. He refused to look at the MRI. He couldn't find the x-rays I've had for nerve conduction studies at they all say I have carpal tunnel and after the manual test that he did. He said I didn't have carpal tunnel. And I said, did you read the all of the information I gave you? He says I'm not going to read a long report. So he he wasn't well versed on what is going on and*

  • Aug 01, 2019

very nice man . actually looked like he cared , about my hand

  • Jun 30, 2019

Yeah, he is certainly competent and fixed my hand fine, but he was late. So I almost, 45 minutes or an hour and that's unacceptable.

  • Jun 29, 2019

My experience with Dr. Joel Solomon was excellent. I appreciated the time that he took to check out my hand and figure out what's wrong with it and he gave me a shot for a hammers ... for trigger finger and I'm to watch it for a week. And right now it's feeling pretty good. So I'm going to ... I will get back to him and let him know how I'm doing and if ... and if I need further assistance, I will be sure to call and make another appointment with him because I liked it very much. She was very professional and just very knowledgeable and I appreciated him very much. He's just a nice guy. Thanks.

  • Jun 28, 2019

The 4th surgery went really well. I didn't have any problems whatsoever with any of the staff at the hospital. Everything seems to always run smoothly through the 3 surgeries that Joel Solomon did on me. So, I'm extremely happy.

  • Jun 22, 2019

Dr. Soloman was highly recommended and I was not disappointed. He listned to me and found a solution that would at the least improve my carpal tunnel problem or possibly eliminate it.

  • Jun 21, 2019

Everyone seemed confused and unfamiliar with how my injury was addressed at the Silverton Hospital ER. I truly didn’t have anything done except having it looked at and redressed, then “come back in a week.”

  • Jun 19, 2019

    Excellent! Prompt, efficient, and informative.

  • Jun 13, 2019

Dr. Solomon was exceptional, he was very compassionate. The nursing staff, support staff, and anesthesia team was just as impressive. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would go back in a heartbeat.

Friendly kind and comfortable person is the doctor

  • May 29, 2019

I absolutely love(d) him and his staff.. every interaction with him-he was totally patient and answered everyone of my million questions, explaining them in a way we could understand. he was open and honest with no noticable ego that you get with so many doctors and surgeons! Plus he was kind and fun! As was every single person who my husband and I interacted with that day.. everyone seemed thouroghly competent, willing to answer questions, cared about me as a patient and still took the time to joke around and make a less than ideal situation, comforting and fun!
