  • Apr 05, 2019

    1. The printed directions were insufficient for someone coming to the clinic from far away! Need to be more specific in print outs.2. Dr. Solomon was both caring, was attentive and asking questions which further give him better information regarding reason for visit.3. Triage could have been better in letting the Doctor know before hand why the patient was there.4. Over all would recommend Dr. Solomon - in fact will continue to work with him regarding the hand problems. Thank you for asking.....

  • Jan 18, 2019

Dr. Solomon is a highly skilled surgeon that did wonders for my left hand and the dupetryns contracture. He is also very kind and patient. It was another overall positive experience. No complaints.

  • Jan 16, 2019

Dr. Solomon came highly recommended by a mutual friend who is a physician. He walked me through the xrays of my hands and explained my condition. The only thing that did not come out of our meeting was that OHSU's Hand Therapy Clinic has therapists who can train on how to minimize swelling of my condition (finger exercises; massage; paraffin dips; wearing a compression glove). I learned about this today when I had a follow up visit at the Therapy Clinic to pick up a sleeve for one of my fingers to protect it.

  • Jan 15, 2019

    seemed caring and friendly

  • Jan 11, 2019

My experience with this provider was good in that I had a successful surgery done by him and have had no complications afterwards. Unfortunately during my post op appointment. I would need to wait for almost an hour and I was unable to see the provider because I had to get back to work. So I left before seeing him. So that's my experience. Thanks.

  • Jan 05, 2019

Everyone from the front desk through surgery and back was not just professional, but friendly, pleasant and reassuring.

  • Nov 19, 2018

Pleasant personality; answered my questions in a knowledgeable manner in a way I could understand his explanations.

  • Nov 16, 2018

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Solomon. He's the most, very professional person and I would go back to him in a heartbeat and I would also recommend them to anyone that needs similar surgery.

  • Nov 16, 2018

Surg on hand/wrist, can't really type. Everyone was very nice, helpful, would have liked to get more detail re surg afterwards so not wondering what was found/done, how bad prob was, etc. I realize Dr. had to move on to next case, but still left wondering. Will surg report be available on line so I can read it?

  • Nov 15, 2018

    My service was wonderful.

  • Nov 13, 2018

I felt that it was a waste of time. And he didn't seem very helpful. Just told me to go buy a brace for my hand because the X-ray was irregular, and I got sent to the specialist because having a bad MRI and they couldn't even get those. The MRI results, you know, I don't know. I just thought it was very dysfunctional.

  • Nov 11, 2018

My experience with Dr. Solomon was excellent. I would recommend Joel Solomon to anyone. He was professional, answered all my questions, and I thought it was great.

  • Nov 10, 2018

Dr. Solomon is the best. We have been working with him for over 14 months and he has been there the whole time for us. He explained early on that with each surgery there would be less and less improvement (law of diminishing returns). While that has been true, he has treated each surgery with equal importance and has respected all of my daughter's wishes.

  • Nov 07, 2018

He was thorough, listened well, explained options to me and did a complete examination of the problem.

  • Nov 03, 2018

This was 2nd time seeing him. 1st was last year and he was more interested in fixing hand, but denied things that he had said then. I have a fantastic memory, and I am not an attention seeker, so right away my eyebrow went up questioning his attitude. This visit was a pass the buck one. He said he couldn't help me fix problem, smiled an looked at me like I was making things up, an said to go back to pain clinic maybe they could help. Passing the buck is NOT good practice. I can't and won't recommend him. My confidence in his dept., is gone

  • Oct 27, 2018

Dr. Solomon was professional, present, and personable. He listened carefully and answered my questions thoroughly.

  • Oct 20, 2018

    Very timely and thorough.

  • Oct 16, 2018

He listens. That is more rare than it ought to be.
