The X-ray tech was super friendly and informative - learned all kinds of cool things (Seriously) and Dr. Chesnutt is always thorough but to the point.

I waited over an hour to be seen by Chesnutt and had another appointment on a tight schedule. Sandy did her best to help me get in with him as quickly as possible but I still waited a solid 45 minutes. I'm not sure if this was because I was running late to my appointment (due to weather Ice/snow conditions) and so he saw another patient before me. The student working with Chesnutt that day was not helpful trying to speed up the process and was telling personal stories rather loudly in the hallway while we were waiting, so that seemed unprofessional. I always appreciate Dr. Chesnutt's time that he spends with his patients and he listens to my concerns and helps give me the resources I need to help me improve. Overall, I am very happy with his care and love having Ryan as the first contact every appointment.

  • Jan 07, 2019

  • Jan 05, 2019

I have seen him before with my knee issues. Appreciated his interest, received a shot withmore fluid to be inserted over the next several weeks. Also have some good exercisesthat he recommended.

Very helpful and informative he answered all our questions.

  • Dec 16, 2018

He was friendly but was there for the purpose of treating me. I like his approach of explaining in sufficient detail without overloading me with medical terms.

  • Dec 16, 2018

Like Dr. Chesnutt quite a bit personable and has a good job. However, I we did have to wait an hour and 15 minutes before I will see. So bad day in the clinic a little excessive.

  • Dec 12, 2018

Dr. Chestnutt was very engaging, explained my problem in a full and provided a treatment plan that instilled confidence.

  • Dec 07, 2018

Knowledgeable and personable. Could have reviewed my chart a bit more before seeing me.

  • Dec 06, 2018

Provided a clear explanation of problem and moved forward with proper referrals and next steps.

  • Dec 06, 2018

I think that Dr. Chesnutt is very competent. He talked awfully fast and I felt a little rush through the appointment, so I felt like I had a... luckily my husband was there to help me sort of digest all the information he was giving me, and that... I had a 9 o'clock appointment and would expect it with that appointment time that the provider would be on time.

  • Dec 05, 2018

Excellent Doctor, knows what he is doing!!!

  • Dec 02, 2018

I've been seeing Dr. Chesnutt for a number of years now. He is excellent and I highly recommend him.

  • Nov 29, 2018

As always, everything went as planned. I was admitted on time, interviewed bu aresident, and then was given my shot.Well done.

  • Nov 22, 2018

Dr. Chestnutt took a real interest in my ongoing back/hip pain problem. We agreed on a new strategy that will help me walk again.

  • Nov 21, 2018

He first came up with a solution to fix my pain with a method he could not do due to lending out his ultrasound machine. Then said he didn't like to prescribe steroids. I don't like being in pain. It sounded like an accusation, the reason for my pain, you are menapausal. I'm not yet.

  • Nov 21, 2018

He was nice and listened and answered my questions.

  • Nov 19, 2018

I had a very very long wait both in the waiting room. And also once I was placed in the room.

  • Nov 19, 2018

    Positive experience.

  • Nov 15, 2018

    Very personable and thorough.

  • Nov 15, 2018

He took time to listen, answer, and explain. He had x-rays and information from my visit with an orthopedic physician in Vancouver.

  • Nov 15, 2018

Hi. Yes. I was very satisfied, explained to me what was wrong and I got all the answers I wanted from him. He was very thorough.

  • Nov 14, 2018

Xrays done prior to meeting with Dr. to facilitate treatment plan. Options and follow up plan discussed. Visit timely and unhurried. I?m satisfied with outcome.

  • Nov 13, 2018

I think he?s very nice person, and for the most part experience has been good, but my concern is that this time that I got MRI results, and the information he relayed to me was not what findings were in the report. I have been in extreme amount of pain, and he seemed to not have an explanation for it showing me the MRI and saying there was possibly an impingement that was causing pain, but not for the most part things looked normal. There was no real answer. I was extremely upset and telling him that I can?t understand how I?m in so much pain and they say things are for the most part normal. I asked assistant for a print out of MRI and as I read it, it said clearly that I had a near full thickness tear of ligamentum teres. Researching this, is said to cause severe pain, which make sense with everything I have been feeling and symptoms that I have been telling them about. I immediately called back to the office and asked to get a return call from Dr. Chestnutt or aide so I could discuss what was not discussed with me about the MRI findings. I have yet to receive a return call. I am frustrated to feel that he did not fully disclose report to me, or did not fully read it.

  • Nov 11, 2018

I very much appreciated how much time Dr. Chesnutt spent listening to my concerns and that he was willing to speak to all of them and that he was very interested in having me have an informed conversation with him. I found him kind and patient and very clear and ultimately very, very helpful. And I also enjoyed meeting his resident. She was lovely. I have nothing but good things to say, and I'm so glad that I found him and look forward to seeing him again in a month for a check up. Thank you.

  • Nov 10, 2018

Wait time was over an hour. Not much explanation as to why until I actually saw the doctor.

  • Nov 08, 2018

Dr Chesnutt and Dr Suchy were thorough in discussing specifics of my issue and provided insight into how to improve overall physical condition. Bedside manner me and training for Dr Suchy were positive.

  • Nov 08, 2018

    Very helpful

  • Nov 07, 2018

My Son who is a senior rower saw him last spring and Dr. Chestnut fixed his back problems. When I hurt my foot and it did not get better, I called and I was able to see Dr. Chestnut the next day. I was grateful because my pain was bad and I wasn't functioning well. After really listening to me and a thorough exam he recommended a brace and after just wearing it for one day it is already improving!

  • Nov 07, 2018

Very good experience, all concerns met

  • Nov 03, 2018

    Helpful, and well informed.

  • Nov 01, 2018

It would really, really, really behind.

  • Oct 24, 2018

It was a fast appointment since I was expecting he would refer me to the orthopedic surgeon. However, he took the time to look over two news clippings that I brought in to show him.

  • Oct 24, 2018

    He is affable and competent

  • Oct 24, 2018

Professional, empathetic, momentarily painful, ended with joint teasing. In other words, a great doctor's appointment.

  • Oct 21, 2018

Unfortunately, this long awaited appointment with a highly touted specialist was a waste of time. I don't feel he knew what to do and essentially blew me off. I also feel that the experience was much more extended that it needed to be. We had 3 separate intakes with 3 different people before meeting the doctor. Upon each, they said they would discuss my case with the doctor but that didn't seem to happen because he seemed ignorant when he came into the room. The entire appointment lasted over 2.5 hours but could have been accomplished within 20 minutes. It was long but not thorough. Just repeated basic information. When I attempted to demonstrate my issues and discuss misconceptions, the doctor didn't even look at me nor listen. It was definitely disheartening and we regret the effort it took to get this appointment. They touted themselves for being specialists but none of the information we received was specialized. They seem to be concussion 101 but we are in need of a more advanced level of care. All that we got out of the appointment was a email address of a study I may be accepted into and a list of referrals which we could have gotten on our own. Perhaps that was the entire function of the visit and my expectations for a more thorough examination and specialized assessment were incorrect. If that was the entire point of the interaction, I think it could have been much shorter and we wouldn't have to wait months to get this 'specialist' appointment.

He is wonderful, both as a human and a physician. I am so grateful to have him as part of my care team, and appreciate his very collaborative approach.

  • Oct 18, 2018

The doctor was nice and had great bedside manner. I felt comfortable with him performing the injection.

  • Oct 17, 2018

Dr. Chesnutt has been dealing with calcium deposits in my shoulders and elbows for over a year. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He is thoughtful, caring, takes his time to really think things through for my best outcome and is just a delight each and every time I see him. I can't say enough nice things about his care and bedside manner. He's the best.
