Biography

Dr. Deniz Gerecci, MD was born and raised in Houston, Texas where she completed her undergraduate studies and medical school. She moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2013 for her surgical residency training at OHSU. She then completed an advanced fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive surgery in Indianapolis, IN. She is excited to return to Portland and join the Division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at OHSU as an assistant professor.  

She specializes in facial cosmetic and reconstructive procedures including: facelift, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow lift surgery, facial implants, skin resurfacing, ear lobe repair, lip augmentation, skin lesion removal and repair, scar revision, and fat transfer. She is also highly trained and experienced in cosmetic facial injectables including neuromodulators and dermal fillers. 

She believes in taking time to listen to patients and understand their aesthetic goals and concerns. After performing a comprehensive facial analysis, she likes to work with patients one-on-one to come up with an individualized treatment plan that fits their needs.  Her emphasis is on patient education and understanding. Her goals are to create a more refreshed, rested, and natural appearance.She believes that underlying every person's desire to look better, is the desire to feel better. She is excited to help patients along their journey of looking and feeling better.
