Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Claire Hull graduated from the Duke University Physician Assistant Program in 1995 with a Master in Health Sciences degree. She has enjoyed working in PA education for more than 20 years, and has served in a variety of roles including the academic coordinator at the University of Alabama at Birmingham PA Program and the Assistant Director for the Didactic Curriculum at Yale University PA program. She joined the OHSU PA program in 2006 and served as the clinical coordinator for many years.
Claire recently returned to full-time clinical practice, but she maintains a part-time adjunct faculty position with the program.
Claire worked with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in the development of the national PA certification examinations. She has also been actively involved in the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) serving on several committees and as a faculty presenter at conferences.
