Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. Biography

Brittany B. Tatum, O.D. was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. Dr. Tatum graduated from Appalachian State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Biology and continued on to attend Southern College of Optometry, graduating in 2015 with her Doctorate of Optometry degree. During her time in optometry school, Dr. Tatum was able to go on two mission trips to provide eye care and glasses to communities in Honduras and Haiti. She hopes one day to travel again and provide eye care in other underserved communities in the future.

Dr. Tatum practiced in North Carolina for 5 years prior to moving to Oregon. She has worked in private practice, corporate practice, as well as an optometrist/ophthalmologist practice during her optometric career. She has a special interest in ocular disease and dry eye treatment and management. She feels comfortable taking care of patients of all ages!

Dr. Tatum is married with one son. During her free time, she and her family love being outdoors as much as possible, enjoying activities such as hiking and kayaking. Dr. Tatum and her husband also enjoy playing music together.
