Why aren't there any ratings?

There is no publicly available rating for this care provider for one of three reasons:

  1. They do not see patients.
  2. They see patients but have not yet received the minimum number of patient experience reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is statistically reliable and an accurate reflection of patient experience.

About me

Dr. Brian Brinkerhoff is excited to be a faculty member on the GI Pathology Service at OHSU. As a native of the Portland area, he is committed to advancing patient care in the Northwest region through quality diagnostics, clinical collaboration, and dedicated teaching. His particular areas of interest include Barrett’s dysplasia, inflammatory bowel disease, and cancers of the pancreas and biliary system.

Dr. Brinkerhoff received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at OHSU, where he served as Chief Resident. After completing a fellowship in Gastrointestinal, Liver, and Pancreatobiliary Pathology at the University of Utah, he worked in Alberta, Canada before accepting a faculty appointment in the Department of Pathology at OHSU.

Dr. Brinkerhoff returns to the area with his family, and enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast and Columbia River Gorge.
