Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Aurora’s interest are in working with diverse and underseved communities to address health disparities and barriers to improve health. Her experience has come from working at the Salem Hospital and asssisted living facilities as a Certified Nursisig Asistant. Aurora has experienced first-hand the challenges underseved communities face when navigating our healthcare system due to language barrier and access to health insurance. She has also interned at Zenger Farms (CSA Partneships for Health Program) to address barriers in accessing healthy and affordable foods in low-income communites.

In her spare time, Aurora enjoys spending time with her son, Daniel, and her dog Charlie. Between making YouTube videos, designing merchandise, and the dog park; Aurora enjoys running, hiking, and strength training.
