Biography

Dr. Amy Wiser is a family physician. She loves promoting health and wellness and from this, the positive effects she sees in her patients. Her clinical interests include women's health, maternity care and transgender health care.

Dr. Wiser grew up in a small town in rural Pennsylvania. After completing her studies and family medicine residency on the East Coast, she moved to Spokane to pursue an obstetrical fellowship. She then moved to rural Oregon to practice family medicine, including full scope maternity care. She and her husband, Dr. Eric Wiser, also a family physician, practiced in the small town of Sublimity before coming to OHSU.

In her spare time, Dr. Wiser enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She likes to read, sew, and travel.
