About me

Dr. Chen specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataract. After completing a B.A degree in neuroscience and behavior from New York, she moved to the west coast and received her M.D. and completed her ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. She was born in Taiwan and is therefore fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese. Due to her love for travel and other cultures she is also conversant in Spanish. During her free time she enjoys playing piano, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
