  • Nov 06, 2019

  • Oct 20, 2019

I had a very good experience with the doctor and I would definitely come back again for any skin related problems. Definitely recommend him to anybody close to me.

  • Oct 15, 2019

Very professional and helpful help treating my psoriasis.

  • Sep 27, 2019

Everyone is kind, helpful, and listens to what I say/ ask about. I leave supported.

  • Sep 25, 2019

Dr. Hanifin loses more and more of my respect every time I see him. He's constantly trying to change my treatment plan despite the fact that it's working for me and despite the fact that my treatment plan follows standard medical guidelines for treatment of my condition. He wants to put me on medication that has way more serious side effects completely against the standard guideline recommendations! He seems to completely ignore anything I say that contradicts his opinion about how to treat my condition. He's constantly requiring me to come back to office for follow-up visits in which he just repeats the same information to me again without any change to the dialog. When I asked not to come back to the office because it didn't seem productive he threatened to hold my current medication hostage!Honestly I don't know why I haven't switched providers yet. I think I've just lost faith in OHSU's dermatology department, having already changed providers once.

  • Sep 22, 2019

I would certainly recommend him to anybody. He was very good and I'm looking forward to seeing him again. So he has gotten a star from me. Thank you for this.

  • Sep 20, 2019

  • Sep 06, 2019

I would like to thank Dr. Jon Hanifin for his experience consultation and I really enjoy and it was the best dermatologist I've ever met in my life.

  • Aug 16, 2019

I was very happy with both the doctors that I saw there the other day. It was a very good experience. Thank you.

  • Aug 16, 2019

    Efficient and helpful.

  • Aug 09, 2019

It was a very good experience. He was very nice and a good, very good doctor.

  • Aug 07, 2019

Everyone was kind and professional. They tried their best to figure out my issue and took the necessary time needed.

  • Aug 07, 2019

The wait time was WAY too long. Then, the doc spent all of about 2-3 minutes with me total. Didn't listen / cut me off. And didn't answer my questions. Though I could tell he was trying (smiling as he walked in) he seemed rushed, impatient and rude to staff as well as me. I didn't even learn what in the world the issue was that I came in for. Super frustrating and a waste of my time and money.

  • Aug 06, 2019

Dr. Hanifin seemed to waffle on any decision to be made - depending on the resident for input. I expected to have the lesion biopsied since it was atypical for keratoses that I've had and similar to SCC that I've had in the past. Not done. I was told I would need to undergo a full body skin exam since I had not been in for several years, I did not want this, but had it done as I was given no option. This also does not appear in the office notes which are horribly incomplete. I do not feel my medical care was in any way competent.

  • Jul 28, 2019

The residents were fantastic, but the doctor wasn?t listening to me. I left feeling like he wasn?t even interested in hearing my health concern. He replied judgmentally regarding my primary care diagnosis and treatment plan. ?Who diagnosed you with THAT?!? He didn?t ask before he lifted up my shirt. I wouldn?t return to this provider.

  • Jul 26, 2019

Hi. Excuse me. I'm a physician and I've been going to Jon Hanifin for about 10 years (INAUDIBLE) and he is excellent in the care given, the neurology care, and (INAUDIBLE) and I'm 100% happy with it. Thank you. I'm sorry, a frog in my throat. He's a fabulous guy.

  • Jul 24, 2019

Dr. Hanifin has been patient and helpful and completely resolved my condition.

  • Jul 19, 2019

Okay, we ... we have been dealing with some ... some allergies for the last 3 months and we've finally conquered them and that was ... that was I feel very successful.

  • Jul 18, 2019

    Best treatment available to me

  • Jun 29, 2019

All staff very friendly. Check-in and check-out staff very prompt and courteous. Doctors extremely professional and thorough and pleasant.

  • Jun 28, 2019

Hey, it was a great experience. He is a very nice doctor. The other two people that were there were really conscientious, got right with it and got my medications changed. I'm looking forward to seeing them again. Thank you.

  • Jun 26, 2019

Dr. Hanifin has been my longtime dematologic physician. He is knowledgeable, kind, and competent.

  • Jun 19, 2019

Dr. Hanifin and his resident were very considerate of my medical needs and displayed patience and respect when explaining details of their diagnosis and treatment plan.

  • Jun 14, 2019

Dr Hanifin and his staff are very friendly and professional

  • Jun 09, 2019

Dr. Hanifin is very much an old school doctor. He practices what I call pedestal medicine. He is the doctor. I am the patient. I know nothing. He knows everything. He also has had apparently no training whatsoever about working with mentally ill people. He apparently does not know anything at all about skin itchiness and pain that can result from mental illness. He informed me, as many doctors do, that the physical symptoms I'm experiencing I could not possibly be experiencing because he does not know that mentally ill people can have physical problems that are not explained by the usual medical Western medical troubles.

  • Jun 07, 2019

Experience was very good, very thorough feel comfortable through the whole examination and I would definitely call back again. In fact have recommended Dr. Hanifin to several of my friends.

  • May 29, 2019

Dr. Hanalin didn't seem to be interested in listening and was dismissive and condescending. Thank goodness he had a resident that was working with him.

  • May 26, 2019

I really appreciated seeing Dr. Hammond because he was very patient with me, and he explained things completely to me, and took the time to make sure I understood his instructions on the medication. Okay.

  • May 22, 2019

Provider that was given to us was absolutely excellent. We were very happy with them. Thank you.

  • May 18, 2019

Both he and his resident look time to talk with me and were friendly but very professional. I left with no unanswered questions. Also the rest of the staff were friendly and competent. I also didn't have to wait long for my appointment.

  • May 16, 2019

Dr. Hanifin is knowledgeable, and experienced. He obviously enjoys his work and puts his patients at ease.

  • May 03, 2019

My experience was excellent, as always. I have 5 doctors in your system, and have been using OHSU since 2007.

  • May 01, 2019

I always experience pleasant and professional service.

  • May 01, 2019

I continue to see Dr. Hanifin because he is an expert on eczema. He always has good suggestions and validates my concerns.

  • Apr 26, 2019

I've been going to John Hanifin for 20 years. I was in the and he's excellent both in a professional and personal standpoint. He's a great doctor.

  • Apr 22, 2019

I've been seeing Dr. Hanifin since the middle eighties. I live in Washington. It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive for me, but it's worth it. I'm glad that he's not retired and that he's still seeing me as a patient, so that I do appreciate and I....I travel that distance and because I..... I think it's worth it, so he's a good guy.

  • Apr 12, 2019

Always smiling, friendly. Pays attention to lab result.

  • Apr 11, 2019

My experience with the provider was good. It was very quick but he seemed very knowledgeable and like he genuinely cared about my daughter.But...My appointment was at 10:30am. I was told to arrive 15 minutes early. So I was there at 10:15am. I wasn't seen by the dr. until 11:10am. So I had an 11 month old confined to a space she couldn't run around and play in for over an hour. I met with the doctor for less than 20 minutes. I'm a mom who is there with her kid. This is ridiculous. I would recommend someone go somewhere else because of this.

  • Apr 11, 2019

Dr. Hanifin was wonderful! This is the best I have been in three years! I give a great deal of this success to Doc! [Name]
