Sean Badal PGY-2 Oncology Resident

Dr. Badal was born and raised in the beautiful islands of Trinidad and Tobago. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), followed by his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. He then completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency at Harris Health System in Houston, Texas. His professional interests include oncology, internal medicine, critical care and pharmaceutical research. Dr. Badal’s major project involves investigating real-world safety outcomes of dose-adjusted lenvatinib. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Badal enjoys soccer, spending time with his family and any outdoor activities that would give him a good workout.

Ngoc Nguyen PGY-2 Hematology/Oncology Resident

Ngoc Nguyen PGY-2 Oncology Resident

Dr. Nguyen is originally from Quy Nhon, Vietnam but has been a Texas resident since 2012. She joined the inaugural class at the University of Texas at Tyler – Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2019. After completing the PGY-1 Residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, Dr. Nguyen joined OHSU for her PGY-2 Residency in Oncology. Dr. Nguyen looks forward to working on two major research projects this year, with the first one investigating the correlation between patient’s weight and rate of mucositis in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Her professional interests include oncology, academia, and pharmacy administration. In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and their dog Cocoa.
