YoungYoon Ham

YoungYoon Ham PGY2 Infectious Disease Resident:
Dr. Ham is originally from Seoul, Korea and grew up in Westbrook, Connecticut.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from Yale University, and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Oregon State University/Oregon Health & Science University in June 2018. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency training at Legacy Health. Her professional interests include incorporating social psychology principles into antibiotic stewardship, optimizing pharmacokinetic parameters in nonstandard patients, such as those on ECMO and CRRT, and academia. Dr. Ham’s major project involves the evaluation of penicillin allergies and challenging them through penicillin skin testing and graded oral challenge. Outside of residency, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to audiobooks or podcasts about anything and everything, and anthropomorphizing her chickens.
