My passion is to support Students in learning about leadership and systems that support the patient/client healthcare delivery in a variety of settings. Using AACN healthy work environment (HWE) standards for the clinical setting has been productive way for Students to assess where they want to work after graduation. Seeing the student applying that knowledge and functioning as an informal staff nurse leader in the patient care delivery setting especially with change and improvement projects is inspiring.
