Biography

Dr. Peter Andersen is a surgeon who specializes in working with doctors from other specialties to care for patients with head and neck cancers and benign tumors. He strives to develop custom treatment plans with the best chance of cure and the mildest side effects.

He leads a specialized team of doctors, nurse practitioners and speech-language pathologists to offer the best care for each patient.

Dr. Andersen is an expert in surgical and nonsurgical care for head and neck tumors, including chemotherapy, radiation and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He and his team can provide the most up-to-date:

  • Reconstructive procedures, to reshape or rebuild the parts of the head and/or neck affected by surgery.
  • Rehabilitation techniques, to improve strength, use and movement and prevent complications after surgery.

In his spare time Dr. Andersen enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, skiing and windsurfing.
