Dr. Nick A. Hamilton is a pediatric surgeon and an associate professor of surgery in the Division of Pediatric Surgery in the OHSU School of Medicine.

He specializes in caring for children with surgical problems of the chest, abdomen and soft tissues of the body.

Dr. Hamilton earned his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical School and completed his residency in general surgery at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. He has completed three fellowships — one in research-immunology at the Washington University Department of Surgery, one in pediatric trauma at St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, and one in pediatric surgery at OHSU.

When he's not working, Dr. Hamilton enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
