Biography

Michelle Hall is an instructor for the School of Nursing at Oregon Health & Science University. She teaches in the baccalaureate completion program (RN-BS) for the School of Nursing. Michelle has over 25 years of critical care background in addition to her work in community education and nursing education. Her critical care experience includes ICU/CCU, ED, flight nursing, and unit manager. For the past few years she has focused her attention on gerontology and health promotion. Michelle is passionate about online education and the opportunities it provides to rural communities. Just as we use evidence in our nursing practice, we use evidence in online education to strive for best educational outcomes and a satisfying educational experience. Her professional mission is to create an outstanding educational experience for online students where sense of community and inquiry flourish.
