Biography

Meghan works as a genetic counselor and research coordinator for Knight Cardiovascular Institute at OHSU. Originally from Minnesota, Meghan graduated from the University of Utah with a Master’s degree in genetic counseling in 2012 and worked in Salt Lake City in oncology genetics. She moved to Portland in 2015 to specialize in cardiology genetics and has found her job to be very rewarding. She loves working with families to help them understand their genetic heart condition, to enable them to get preventive care, and to connect them to research opportunities. Aside from her job, Meghan has three favorite activities: traveling to new places, exploring the great outdoors with her family and dog, and enjoying Portland’s amazing food scene.
