I treat a wide variety of problem areas, with primary emphasis on depression, anxiety (including PTSD and traumas), self-esteem issues, relationship issues, grief & loss, and current adjustment changes. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and provided in a safe, respectful, and compassionate setting. I encourage open, honest, and authentic relationships with oneself and with others. My approach is holistic and interpersonal, with emphasis on the mind body connection. During our time together, I hope to facilitate introspection, growth, enhancement of relationships, change, healing and happiness. Being a first generation American, I am familiar with the experiences of those with bicultural identifies. I strive to deliver services that are respectful of and responsive to the health beliefs, practices and cultural needs of diverse patients across the map.
