Biography

Dr. Kim Wennhold is a board certified psychiatrist who has worked in the Oregon mental health community since 2001. She completed her child psychiatry fellowship training at OHSU and has worked extensively with all ages of children from several months to adulthood. She has a special interest in working with teenage youth, especially those at high risk and has received trauma informed training. 

Dr. Wennhold provides clinical services to children and families at Clackamas County where she has been employed for 13 years; allowing her the advantage of following the developmental trajectory of her patients. As well she has worked with high risk/homeless youth at Outside In providing medical oversight and supervision to their mental health program. This has offered specialization in working with dual diagnosis patients as well as the LGBTQ community. 

In her free time Dr. Wennhold enjoys outdoor activities at the beach and in the mountains with her family. She enjoys gardening, skiing, hiking and travel.
