    • Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine School of Medicine

Dr. Vagnerova joined the OHSU Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine in 2003 for research fellowship in topic of the focal brain ischemia – gender differences in mechanism of neuroprotection and cell death pathways. Dr. Vagnerova joined the faculty as assistant professor in 2004, she was practicing clinical anesthesiology and also continuing in the brain ischemia basic research. In 2007-2008 she underwent fellowship in the critical care medicine at the OHSU. After completing the fellowship in 2008 Dr. Vagnerova has been dividing her clinical practice between working as anesthesiologist and as intensivist in the neurosciences intensive care unit.
