Biography

Aria Baker joins CEDAR as a research assistant after recently graduating from Lewis & Clark College where she studied Biology specializing in micro physiology and public health. At CEDAR Aria will focus on cellular communication mechanisms underlying cancer development and progression. During her college career she studied in India and Ecuador studying public health and biodiversity. She enjoys hiking, foraging, cooking and spending time with her pets and loved ones. Aria is a knowledgeable laboratory technician, compassionate colleague with a fascination in the mechanisms that sustain life. She aspires to develop skills in problem solving and community care through pursuit of a medical degree.
