Elliot Gray

Biography

I am a PhD candidate working in the lab of Prof. Young Hwan Chang. I study the spatial organization of immune cells in human pancreatic and breast cancer tissue. My general hypothesis is that the multiplexed fluorescent or immunohistochemical imaging of tumors after surgical removal can reveal unique spatial signatures that are associated with patient outcomes or clinically-relevant biomarkers. Through this research I hope to contribute to the development of novel immunotherapy regimens to help treat patients with these devastating diseases.

When not in the lab, I enjoy traditional rock climbing and long bike rides in the rain.
