Dale Han M.D.

    • Associate Professor of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology School of Medicine

Dr. Han specializes in treating skin-based cancers, such as melanoma and Merkel cell carcinoma, and in treating soft tissue tumors and sarcomas. He is Board Certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Oncology.  He has extensive experience in treating these types of cancers, and is committed to improving outcomes for patients while providing compassionate care.  His research and publications on melanoma have been influential and are referenced in national treatment guidelines.  He has presented at numerous national and regional conferences and is active in multiple journals, national organizations and committees.  Prior to joining the Division of Surgical Oncology at OHSU, he was an attending surgeon at Yale University in the Section of Surgical Oncology, where his practice focused on the treatment of patients with melanoma and sarcoma.

Dr. Han has travelled the United States extensively and is ecstatic to lay roots in Oregon and to be a part of the Portland community. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter.
