Bridget Lee, CNM, M.S.N. (she/her)

  • Instructor, School of Nursing

Biography

Bridget specializes in midwifery and gynecological care for clients of all ages. She considers it an honor to assist families through some of the most transformative and exhilarating times of their lives.

Bridget encourages clients to be fully engaged in their health care choices, and she tailors each birth experience to respect a person's individuality and preferences. She believes that utilizing evidence based practice and preparing patients for birth - through listening and education - results in the best outcomes. She takes particular interest in contraception and empowering one to take ownership of their reproductive health.

After completing her midwifery education at Columbia University, Bridget practiced for several years at a bustling New York City hospital, where she served people of diverse backgrounds from all over the world. More recently, Bridget worked in a private practice setting and attended births at a community hospital’s birth center in New York’s Hudson Valley.

Bridget was drawn to OHSU by the opportunities to help train future midwives, and for her and her husband to live in Portland and raise their sons in a culturally vibrant environment. Her interests include design, travel, and food.
