Aimee Sprague specializes in the assessment and treatment of people of all ages suffering with symptoms of mental illness. She has particular clinical experience with mental health care of older adults.

Aimee became a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner after working and volunteering for many years in community mental health in San Francisco. She became motivated to pursue a career in psychiatric nursing after losing a beloved parent to depression and suicide following many systems-related barriers and inadequacies to their care. Aimee’s clinical interests include geriatric psychiatry, psychosis, brain injury, harm reduction, perinatal mental health, structural competency, and behavioral health integration in primary care. But primarily she loves being a nurse.

Outside of work Aimee enjoys reading, talking on the phone, satire, playing with her young son, observing weather and seasons, and cheerleading her friends.
