A 3-hour online course for THWs, community members and professionals to understand the anatomy, development, and functions of the brain, particularly in the context of substance or opioid use disorders.

Participants will learn about the anatomy of the brain and autonomic nervous system and how the brain develops prenatally and in early childhood. We will focus on the impact of trauma on brain development as well as exercises and strategies to promote safety, connection, and regulation.
