Two graduate students holding a $2,000 check for winning the InventOR competition.
OHSU Biomedical Engineering graduate students, Geoffrey Schau and Erik Burlingame, took home the Impact Award from the 2019 InventOregon final competition. Click image to read more.

The finalists from the 2020 OHSU Student Innovate Challenge, Avathamsa Athirasala, Ph.D. candidate in biomedical engineering, and Daniel Mullee, M.D. candidate, compete against student innovators from across the state in the InventOR finals for the chance to win up to $30,000 in cash prizes.

This pitch and prototype competition seeks to empower students through mentorship and education to see themselves as innovators. Finalists receive up to $2,500 in development grants to take their invention from an idea to a working prototype in preparation for the competition.

Register here to watch the live stream on September 18th and celebrate student innovators, learn about their amazing inventions, and cheer on your OHSU student team!

Registration required, free and open to all.  Check the InventOR website for updated information and registration details.
