Course details

What would retina surgeons do without the Watzke sleeve? How did ophthalmologists know that a macular hole was full thickness before optical coherence tomography? Dr. Watzke has transformed ophthalmology not only through his legendary teaching, but also through his innovations. To celebrate his 101st birthday, we are celebrating innovations in ophthalmology with two special lectures in his honor. Dr. David Huang will speak about optical coherence tomography and Dr. Andy Lauer will speak about gene therapy. We hear that there will be pie at the end of the conference. Hope you can join us!
