Class Description

This is one in a series of classes designed for OHSU employees working as research coordinators.  The intent of the program is to provide in depth education through lecture, examples, and exercises on clinical research coordinator activities.

This course provides guidance on evaluating the feasibility of conducting a clinical trial at OHSU.

This session is also being offered as part of the 2023 OCTRI Research Forum series. Currently, the in-person spots are full, but additional attendees can register in Compass and will recieve a live stream link.

Class Objective

  • How to determine if you have the appropriate study population
  • How to determine if you can conduct the protocol required activities (resources, equipment)
  • Do you have the appropriate staffing and training?
  • Do the budget and payment terms meet your needs?
  • Other operational and institutional policy consideration
