Abstract:

Complex eye diseases are often multifactorial and/or have a constellation of symptoms that may mask underlying mechanisms of disease, making them challenging to address. Patient clinical presentation is critical to designing good models to address the etiology of causative events or the most problematic symptoms, and ultimately uncover important biological mechanisms.
