Dr. Genevieve Buser, pediatric infectious disease provider with Providence Pediatric Infectious Disease, joins us for this special and timely session. Dr. Buser discusses vaccine efficacy for two mRNA SARS-CoV-2 vaccines under emergency use authorization for children ages 6 months to 5 years. She discusses the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ (ACIP) recommendations for pediatric COVID-19 vaccinations. Separately, Dr. Buser provides an update on hepatitis of unknown etiology among children.
