Talk title: "Unbiased sequencing approaches for the diagnosis of ocular diseases"

Target audience: ophthalmologists and ophthalmologists in training.

Learning objectives:

Participants will be able to:  

  1. Identify metagenomic deep sequencing (MDS) approaches.
  2. Identify MDS applications to ocular infectious and inflammatory diseases.
  3. Recognize MDS applications to track pathogens causing conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers globally.
