Please join us (remotely) for a virtual Grand Rounds presentation, “Screening in Primary Care for Urinary Incontinence in Women”, presented by Amy Cantor, M.D.
Dr. Cantor, a practicing family physician and co-lead of the Evidence-Based Practice Center, will discuss screening for urinary incontinence in women, including guidelines, screening methodology, and how to treat and follow women in your care. She will also discuss gaps in evidence and progress toward closing those gaps.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this lecture participants will be able to
- Describe that urinary incontinence screening for women is recommended and covered by the ACA.
- Identify guidance for documentation and screening that have been validated (and what guidance is currently being developed and tested)
- Identify treatment options in primary care for urinary incontinence, and how to follow patients to determine whether treatment is working.
