OCTRI Lunch-n-Learn description

This session of the OCTRI Lunch-n-Learn series will be on Wednesday, March 11 @ 1:00pm and will highlight a faculty success story that OCTRI contributed to.

David Sheridan, MD, MCR, has worked extensively with the OCTRI Innovation Programs & Awards team for the development of a wearable monitoring device for mental health patients that is designed to help decrease suicide attempts and emergency room visits.  OCTRI’s Jonathan Jubera, MBA, will present on the OCTRI support services that Dr. Sheridan leveraged to bring his technology to a successful clinical trial.

As a refresher, the goals of the OCTRI Lunch-n-Learn series are: 1) for OCTRI faculty and staff to learn about other programs outside of their own, and 2) to serve as an opportunity for people to get to know each other.

As such, we are adding an optional social component this year.  There will be 15 min of time at the end of each Lunch-n-Learn for OCTRI team members to talk and munch on snacks or desserts.

These are meant to be casual, informative presentations with lots of time for Q&A, so please bring your lunch and your questions.
