OCTRI Lunch-n-Learn description

This session of OCTRI Lunch-n-Learn 2.0 will be on Thursday, January 23 @ 12:00pm.  It will be part 2 of the “Meet our TL1 trainee” sessions.  Three OCTRI TL1 awardees will give short presentations on their work and goals:

  • Nadir Balba, PhD candidate, School of Medicine, Behavioral Neuroscience, OHSU
  • Robert Beverly, PhD candidate, College of Public Health and Human Sciences, Nutrition, Oregon State University
  • Alex Stafford, PhD, School of Medicine, Behavioral Neuroscience, OHSU

As a refresher, the goals of the OCTRI Lunch-n-Learn series are: 1) for OCTRI faculty and staff to learn about other programs outside of their own, and 2) to serve as an opportunity for people to get to know each other.  

As such, we are adding an optional social component this year.  There will be 15 min of time at the end of each Lunch-n-Learn for OCTRI team members to talk and munch on snacks or desserts.

These are meant to be casual, informative presentations with lots of time for Q&A, so please bring your lunch and your questions.
