Cohort Discovery & the ACT Network are web-based tools that allow OHSU researchers to discover patient cohort counts & validate feasibility for clinical studies. This course is required to gain access to the Cohort Discovery tool.

OCTRI Cohort Discovery and the ACT Network
Cohort Discovery is a web-based tool that allows OHSU researchers to discover patient cohort counts from Epic data for preparatory to research purposes. Researchers can use this tool to:
- Assess the feasibility of a study
- Identify patients meeting inclusion/exclusion criteria
- Begin study planning prior to submission to the Institutional Review Board
The ACT Network is a real-time, open access platform allowing researchers to explore and validate feasibility for clinical studies.
These training sessions are offered at no cost to researchers at OHSU and our partner institutions and will cover the basic skills required to get you started with both platforms.
