Lynne Johnson, B.S.
National Academy of Sports Medicine: C.P.T.
Lynne Johnson attended Colorado State University and it was there she fell in love with exercise science and the human body. With a focus in pre-med she finished her Bachelors in Sports Medicine, with a minor in Anatomy and Neurobiology. With a passion to share her new knowledge Lynne started her personal training career early at her college recreation center. Since then she has worked in both skilled nursing care facilities as well as with the general public in regular gym settings. She has worked with all fitness levels from new exercisers, up to high level athletes.
Lynne originally came to Portland to study Naturopathic and Chinese medicine, but after a time realized that the body and physical medicine (exercise) is where her passion lies. She has overcome her own issues with injury and recovery which has further fueled her passion to learn more functional ways to train, prevent, and correct compensation patterns. This is why she also plans to attend physical therapy school in the coming years.
Whether you have an old injury, sit for long durations at a desk and have pain, or simply need to move better, Lynne is committed to helping you create a sustainable lifestyle and exercise program that furthers fitness in both your mind and body!
In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, working out, the Oregon coast, spending time with her animals, and both cooking and eating good food.
