Advancing public health ophthalmology

Time: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. PST, with a special session for residents and fellows interested in global ophthalmology from 4 - 6:30 p.m. PST.

The Public Health Ophthalmology Summit is held every other year and brings together ophthalmologists, scholars, program leaders, advocates and others in the field to share their experiences, present evidence and discuss important challenges in the field of public health ophthalmology. 

Program

The program for this meeting is split into four key areas of public health ophthalmology:

  • Creating successful health initiatives
  • Pursuing Equity in Eye Health, across the U.S. and Globally
  • Telehealth and artificial intelligence
  • Introduction to careers in public health ophthalmology for residents and fellows.
