This Grand Rounds course will be held in person only, and will be the start of Casey Eye Institute Research Day. 

Target audience: Ophthalmologists, optometrists, residents and fellows.

Learning objectives

Participants will be able to:

  1. To understand the dynamics and significance of leukocytes in retinal microcirculation
  2. To understand the role of leukocytes in the pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy
  3. To understand the role of leukocytes in the ischemia re-perfusion injury of retina
